CREST Dive Computer Warranty & After-Sales Service

Last updated: May 29, 2026

Thank you for choosing a CREST dive computer.

To provide clear and consistent after-sales information, this page explains CREST's current product warranty, after-sales service, and the terms applicable to promotional and welfare products. Please read it carefully before purchasing or using a product.

By placing an order and completing payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the purchase terms and after-sales service provisions stated on the relevant product page, promotion page, or this page.

1. Diving Safety and User Responsibility

Diving involves inherent risks. CREST dive computers are recreational diving support devices designed to help users record and interpret dive-related information. They do not replace proper dive training, dive planning, the buddy system, professional judgment, or personal responsibility for safety.

Before using this product, make sure that you have received appropriate and complete dive training and understand the operation of scuba equipment, diving safety practices, dive-planning principles, and the basic underwater operation of this product. Users must determine for themselves whether a dive is appropriate based on their training, certification level, actual experience, physical condition, and the conditions at the dive site. Before every dive, confirm that the product is functioning properly, has sufficient battery power, and has been set to the appropriate dive mode and parameters.

Do not use this product beyond the maximum depth for which you have been trained. Do not use it in an unfamiliar, untrained, or otherwise unsuitable diving environment, even if the depth is within your certified limit. The information provided by this product is for reference only. Users must continue to follow the dive-safety rules, dive plans, and operating limits established by their training organization.

Important Warnings

1. Use this product only after receiving proper dive training and understanding the operation of scuba equipment and applicable diving safety practices. This product cannot replace professional training or instruction.

2. No decompression theory, algorithm, calculation, dive table, or dive computer—including this product—can completely eliminate the risk of decompression sickness or related diving injuries. Even when this product is used correctly and within a planned dive profile and operating limits, it cannot account for every individual physiological condition or change. We recommend consulting a qualified medical professional before participating in diving activities. The only certain way to avoid diving injuries is not to dive.

3. This product is intended for recreational diving only. Do not exceed the maximum depth for which you have been trained, and do not use it in a diving environment for which you have not been trained. You are responsible for your own safety.

2. Seven-Day Inspection Period, Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

In accordance with applicable Taiwan consumer-protection laws, products purchased through the CREST Diving Official Store are eligible for a seven-day inspection period after delivery.

The seven-day inspection period begins on the day after the product is delivered. The day shown as “delivered” by the carrier is not counted as Day 1; Day 1 is the following day, and the period runs for seven consecutive calendar days.

The inspection period is calculated in calendar days and includes weekends and public holidays. It is not limited to business days.

Please note that the inspection period is not a trial-use period. If you request a return, refund, or exchange, please keep the product, original packaging, accessories, gifts, and related documents complete and in proper condition, and follow CREST's Return, Refund & Exchange Policy.

3. DOA (Dead on Arrival) Handling

If you discover a DOA (Dead on Arrival) issue immediately after receiving your product, such as:

  • The product cannot be powered on;
  • The product cannot be charged normally;
  • The product cannot enter dive mode; or
  • A system malfunction prevents normal operation,
  • please submit a request through the CREST Product Warranty Service Application System as soon as possible after delivery:

    https://rma-helper-hub.lovable.app/

After verification, we will assist with a replacement or other necessary after-sales arrangement as soon as practicable.

    4. Conditional Warranty Service

CREST provides conditional warranty service for the main body of CREST dive computers. This warranty is an additional, agreed after-sales service provided by CREST. It is intended for the assessment and handling of product functional issues that arise under normal use.

Warranty service applies only to products whose origin, purchase record, and warranty eligibility can be verified and that were lawfully sold through the CREST Diving Official Store, a CREST authorized agent, or a CREST authorized dealer. Warranty service does not apply if valid proof of purchase or a warranty card cannot be provided, if the product serial number is unreadable, if the product source is unknown, or if the product's authenticity and purchase source cannot be verified.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase shown on valid proof of purchase. To apply for warranty service, please provide valid proof of purchase, the product warranty card, the product serial number, a description of the issue, and any necessary photos or videos so that we can assess the product condition and warranty eligibility.

The main body of a dive computer is covered by a one-year conditional warranty from the date of purchase. Dive computer accessories and gifts are not covered by this warranty. Warranty periods for promotional offers are subject to the applicable promotion notice.

If a product is confirmed to qualify for warranty service, CREST may provide a new product, a welfare product, or another appropriate replacement solution, depending on product condition, inventory availability, and the applicable service terms. A replacement product does not restart or extend the original warranty period.

If a product must be sent to CREST or an authorized service location for assessment, the customer is generally responsible for shipping costs to CREST or the authorized service location. Once the product is confirmed to qualify for warranty service, CREST generally bears the cost of sending the replacement product back to the customer. Local laws or the terms of a specific promotion may provide otherwise.

Warranty periods and service content may vary by product, sales region, promotion, special-offer product, or welfare product. Please refer to the relevant product page, promotion page, purchase notice, or applicable warranty information.

    5. Our Updated After-Sales Service Approach

To provide faster, clearer, and more consistent support, CREST now handles dive computer after-sales cases primarily through replacement solutions. We no longer offer repairs for original units or quotations for individual repair work.

If a product is confirmed to qualify for warranty service, CREST may provide a new product, a welfare product, or another appropriate replacement solution based on product condition, inventory availability, and the applicable service terms.

If a product is outside the warranty period or does not qualify for warranty service, CREST may, where appropriate, offer a paid new product, welfare product, or another suitable replacement option for the user's consideration.

Warranty eligibility and service terms are determined by the product serial number, purchase record, product page, promotion page, and CREST's official announcements. For the current service-policy announcement, please visit:

    6. Circumstances Not Covered by Warranty

The following circumstances may be excluded from warranty service or may affect warranty eligibility:

    1. The warranty period has expired.

    2. Valid proof of purchase or warranty information cannot be provided, or the product serial number is unreadable.

    3. The product was purchased through an unauthorized channel, its source is unknown, or its authenticity cannot be verified.

    4. Damage caused by dropping, impact, crushing, improper operation, failure to follow instructions, or other human factors.

    5. Damage caused by self-disassembly, modification, non-authorized repair, or improper replacement of parts.

    6. Claims arising from normal wear and tear, cosmetic scratches, aging consumable accessories, or non-functional issues.

    7. Damage caused by use outside the product's intended design, beyond trained depth limits, or in an unsuitable diving environment.

    8. Other circumstances that CREST determines are not product functional issues arising under normal use.

    7. Promotional Products, Special Offers, and Gifts

Some promotional products, limited special-offer products, and other special programs may have warranty periods and service terms that differ from those of standard products.

The applicable warranty period, included accessories, promotion restrictions, and after-sales terms will be stated on the relevant promotion page, product page, or promotion terms. Please review the relevant information carefully before purchasing.

If a promotion page or product page clearly states that a product is subject to specific warranty terms, the warranty period and service terms stated on that page will apply. The warranty period shown on this general warranty page may not apply to that promotional product.

    8. Statutory Consumer Rights

This page explains CREST's agreed after-sales services, promotional terms, and warranty coverage.

These terms are not intended to exclude or limit any rights that consumers are entitled to under applicable law. If local law contains mandatory consumer-protection provisions, those provisions will apply and will not be limited by this page.
