Specializing in beams and color lighting, Violet Ting is a leading expert in capturing the graceful movements of marine life through creative composition and lighting. Through underwater photography, she brings the beauty of the ocean to land, helping people connect with the marine world.

Since 2015, Violet has earned awards at international no-retouch live competitions and Chinese online contests. In 2017, she became the first Asian female cover story featured in Scubashooter #25, and has been interviewed by Malaysia’s China Press, EZ Dive Magazine, and Chinese underwater photography platforms.

She served as a judge at the first Taiwan Underwater Photography Competition in 2019, gave public talks at Taiwan’s National Museum of Natural Science, and was featured on the TV program “30 Meters Underwater.” In 2024, she was invited as a judge for the three-day underwater live competition in Gáldar, Spain.

Since 2017, Violet has been actively sharing her photography expertise through workshops and talks in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore.
